Student Engagement and Leadership Manager

Clinton Community College is seeking a full-time Student Engagement and Leadership Manager.   This will be a salaried position.

Under the direction of the Dean of Student Development, this position will be responsible for: The position of Student Engagement & Leadership Coordinator will be responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive student life program.  The successful candidate will work to plan, organize, promote, supervise, and evaluate student life programs, events, and activities including cultural events and co-curricular programming.

Qualifications will include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required.  
  • Community College and/or Student Development experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability in planning and coordinating programs
  • Must have the ability to establish effective relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Must have excellent computer skills
  • Must possess the ability to work with confidential information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and maintain excellent organizational skills.
  • Must possess the attitude, knowledge, skills, and motivation necessary to create an effective learning environment.
  • Successful candidate must possess exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule as needed.
