About MLC
Mission Statement:
The Muscatine Learning Consortium is a partnership of companies committed to providing learning opportunities to meet the needs of its members to improve organizational performance.
Muscatine Learning Consortium
The Muscatine Learning Consortium is a partnership among local companies and Muscatine Community College/Eastern Iowa Community Colleges to address the common training needs of the partners.
These companies have chosen to pool resources and share learning opportunities in foundational skill areas. This innovative concept allows each company to further promote and expand the personal and professional development opportunities of employees above and beyond individual corporate offerings.
Benefits of consortium membership include:
-
Employee networking opportunities and sharing of a wide variety of experiences.
-
A cost-effective approach to training in which enrollment fees are greatly reduced.
-
A high-quality instructional and support staff.
-
State-of-the-art training facilities for adult learners.
-
Administrative ease: all training, scheduling, negotiation of trainers' contracts, billing and record-keeping will be coordinated through Eastern Iowa Community Colleges.
-
A wide variety of training opportunities each year as determined by the Consortium members.
-
Active membership support will assure that classes won't be canceled due to low enrollment.
It's a unique training opportunity for us all. For more information, please look at our current Course Schedule, or contact Katie Watson at 563-288-6012.
