Thank you for launching this semester with energy and enthusiasm. The first week sets the tone for our students, and your encouragement, creativity, commitment, and dedication made a lasting impression. Whether in the classroom, supporting services, or behind the scenes, you made our students feel welcome, supported, and ready to succeed.  

As we head into Labor Day weekend, it is fitting to reflect on the significance of this holiday. It honors the contributions of workers whose skill, effort, and resilience have built and shaped our nation.  

You've played a big part in that, too.  

Every day, EICC faculty and staff are educating, training, and supporting the goals and success of all students who walk in our doors. We are, and have been for nearly 60 years, preparing the future workforce, individuals who will and do contribute to their communities, support their families, and strengthen our regional economy. We are providing an opportunity to pursue their hopes and dreams.

This holiday reminds us that our work – past and present – matters. It really matters. What you do matters!
