Initial Exchange of Interests – Collective Bargaining

Eastern Iowa Community Colleges

Eastern Iowa Community Colleges will hold an open public meeting for the initial exchange of interests between the College and the employee organization representing eligible employees, as required under Iowa Code § 20.17(3).

The sole purpose of this meeting is the exchange of initial interest statements as part of the collective bargaining process. This session is open to the public in accordance with Iowa Code Chapter 21.

No action will be taken.

Eastern Iowa Community Colleges, Scott Community College, Parking Lot Rehabilitation

Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) is accepting bids for its Scott Community College – Parking Lot Rehabilitation.

The scope of project work includes the following:

  1. Parking Lot B
    • Reconfigure the entrances from parking lot B to Belmont Rd.
    • Horizontal saw cut curbs around the lot to allow for easier snow removal.
    • Install a new storm inlet at the “northwest” corner of the lot to drain an existing low spot.
    • Seal and re-stripe the existing lot
    • Install a new connection drive between Lots B, C, and D.
  2. Parking Lot C
    • Mill off existing asphalt surface, address sub grade as needed, repave with new concrete section.
    • Install a new connection drive between Lots B, C, and D.
    • Install a new “ambulance” drop off for a future remodel to the building.
    • Re-stripe the new lot.
  3. Parking Lot D
    • Mill off existing asphalt surface, address sub grade as needed, repave with new concrete section.
    • Install a new connection drive between Lots B, C, and D.
    • Install a new “delivery” drop off zone to the east of Parking lot D that outlets to the existing drive adjacent to the CTE Building.
    • Selective repair of existing storm structures.
    • Re-stripe the new lot
  4. Parking Lot E
    • Seal and re-stripe the existing lot

A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held onsite Wednesday, March 25, at 3:30 p.m. at the Scott Community College campus outside door #4, 500 Belmont Rd., Riverdale, Iowa.

Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2026, room 116/117 at Eastern Iowa Community Colleges - Urban Campus – Attention: Janet Foutch, Purchasing, 101 West 3rd Street, Davenport, Iowa 52801. Bids will be opened and publicly read at that time.

Eastern Iowa Community Colleges, Muscatine Community College, Gaekle Hall Remodel

Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) is accepting bids for its Muscatine Community College – Gaekle Hall Remodel.

This project consists of remodeling the existing 15,180 square foot building, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, walls, flooring, doors, ceiling, casework, and paint. Exterior work includes a new TPO roof, gutter & downspouts, soffits, and cladding the existing walkway canopies in sheet metal.

A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held onsite Tuesday, February 24, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. at the Muscatine Community College Campus in Room 112 of Gaekle Hall.

Sealed bids will be accepted until 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2026, room 116/117 at Eastern Iowa Community Colleges - Urban Campus – Attention: Janet Foutch, Purchasing, 101 West 3rd Street, Davenport, Iowa 52801. Bids will be opened and publicly read at that time.

Request for Information: Managed Identity and Access Management (IAM) Solutions

Eastern Iowa Community College (EICC) is seeking information from qualified vendors that provide Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms and associated professional services suitable for a public higher-education environment.

This RFI is intended to:

  1. Conduct a structured market exploration
  2. Understand capabilities, architectures, and implementation approaches
  3. Evaluate fit within a complex, hybrid, evolving ecosystem
  4. Inform potential next steps, including demonstrations, deeper technical discussions, and possible future procurement

This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) and does not obligate the institution to issue a contract or proceed with any vendor.
