Apply Now

Welcome to EICC! So excited you are joining us. Whether you will attend classes on campus or online, the admissions process is easy. Here's a step-by-step guide of what you can do and expect before classes start.

  1. Fill out the application. It’s free and you can do it online or on paper. It only takes a few minutes to complete. Visit eicc.edu/apply.
  2. Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to see if you qualify for federal and state grants, loans, scholarships, and work-study. Begin this process early as it can take up to 6 weeks to process your application.
    • In 2023, you can begin filing the FAFSA in December.  If you have questions, our financial aid office is ready to help.
    • In order to pay EICC tuition on time and charge books at the bookstore, submit your FAFSA on or before the following dates:
      • Fall semester: July 15
      • Spring semester: December 1
      • Summer semester: May 1

Each EICC campus has a foundation, and its donors and volunteers support our students with scholarships. Apply ! Just submit your application by the deadline:

  • Fall semester: March 1
  • Spring semester: November 1

  • Send us your high school transcripts, or your GED/HiSET certification. We may use this information to qualify you for financial aid, for admission into a specific academic program, or for course placement.
  • If you want to transfer credits to EICC from another college or university, have your official college transcripts directly sent to the EICC Office of Registration and Records. Then fill out and submit this online form: Request for Transcript Evaluation. We’ll notify you how many of your credits will transfer into EICC.
  • If possible, bring a copy of your unofficial transcript to your first advising appointment. It is a helpful tool as we work together to plan and pick courses for your first semester.

We don’t want you taking classes you don’t need to take. Nor do we want you to struggle through a subject. You will be more successful if you are placed in the right class, right from the start. Our placement process is a helpful tool, and it is required, too.

For English and reading placement:

  • Submit your high school transcripts OR
  • Submit your ACT scores OR
  • Submit your SAT scores OR
  • Submit your HiSET scores
