Provide life-saving care on-the-spot. At EICC, we teach you how. In as little as two years, become an EMT or a Paramedic, and contribute to your community in a way that has real impact. It is a high-reward career field. Enter it with a high-quality EICC education.
What You Learn in The EMS Programs
Learn to provide trauma care and critical life support to adults, children, and infants. Our programs prepare you to earn a national EMT license, and EMT and Paramedic certification in Iowa.
Do you want a college award or just the training? We offer both. The only difference is how your tuition gets paid, and we're happy to walk you through your options.
EICC also provides EMT and EMS refresher courses so you can continue building your skills after you establish your career.
What Can I Do With a EMT or Paramedic Education?
Respond to emergency calls, give medical care, and transport patients to hospitals and healthcare facilities. Join a fire department, ambulance service, and more. You are an essential member of the emergency healthcare team. Report the condition of the patient and the treatment you provided in the field to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.

Academic programs are eligible for financial aid and scholarships. Training programs may be covered by other funding sources. We'll outline your options.Go from EMT to College Graduate
