Welcome Guest Students
We are excited you want to take classes as a guest student at Eastern Iowa Community
Colleges. We have a simplified application and enrollment process for our guest students.
Our goal is to assist you in taking courses that will move you toward degree completion
at your home institution.
In order to be a guest student, you must be a student in good standing at your “home”
college or university. Our guest students can take up to nine credit hours per term
or one class during Winterim.
Here are your steps to become a Guest Student:
- Apply to the college
. Be sure to select that you are a guest student when you complete the application.
- Complete the Guest Student Request for Registration Form
to select your courses. An advisor will review your course selection. The college will confirm your enrollment in the course.
- Registration for Winterim 2022 is open.
- Registration for Spring 2023 is open.
- View current class schedules
- You will need to send your unofficial college transcripts or placement test scores
(ACT, SAT or ALEKS) to meet any class prerequisites. You can send your transcripts
to guestregistration@eicc.edu
As a guest student, you are not required to attend orientation. We do encourage you
to check out the Student Resource Center information .
You will need to request your EICC official transcript to be sent to your home college
upon completion of the course. You can request your transcript to be sent here: Transcript request .
