Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) is thrilled to announce the return of a $2,000 automatic scholarship for Agriculture students enrolling full-time in any of its three Agriculture degree programs for Fall 2025.

To qualify for this generous scholarship, students must register for the Fall 2025 semester in one of the following Associate in Applied Science (AAS) programs:

Thanks to a $50,000 contribution from the Muscatine Community College Foundation, these scholarships aim to support students pursuing careers in agriculture while highlighting the importance of these professions. Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.

“Our Agriculture programs provide students with real-world, hands-on skills and experiences that set them up for success in the workplace. This scholarship is just one more resource EICC can provide to help these students reach their career goals.”

Located at Muscatine Community College, EICC’s Agriculture programs enable students to earn an AAS in as little as two years and step directly into promising careers. Graduates successfully manage farming and livestock operations, develop strategies for food and agricultural product marketing, oversee turf operations, and deliver essential medical care to animals.

“With the growing demand for educated, skilled, and qualified agriculture professionals, our programs are at the forefront of meeting this need,” Dieckman added.

EICC’s Agriculture curriculum includes four paid internships, allowing students to gain invaluable work experience—averaging $18,000 and 2,000 hours—before graduation. Additional opportunities include on-campus housing scholarships, membership in the Livestock Evaluation Team, and the National Professional Agricultural Student Organization.
