Explore and experience all of that and more, during National Community College Month. EICC is offering free classes April 1-30. The schedule includes a range of topics taught by expert EICC instructors. You can start a new hobby, explore a new career, or learn a new skill.

About Community College Month

Community College Month is coordinated by the Association of Community College Trustees to increase awareness of the many economic, academic, and equity advantages. EICC is proud to be among 1,000+ institutions across the U.S. celebrating Community College Month. Here's why:

Community Colleges

  • Provide higher education to students with the fewest resources and the greatest obstacles.
  • Are primary educators/certifiers of in-demand nursing and other healthcare professionals.
  • Offer the most affordable, high-quality postsecondary education.
  • Are the most in-demand institutions during and following times of economic recession.
  • Serve the most demographically and socioeconomically diverse students.
  • Guarantee fair admissions to all students.
  • Are there for their communities in times of crisis.
