Eastern Iowa Community College and the AAUW (American Association of University Women) invites the community to a powerful screening of the documentary Gridshock, addressing the urgent issue of human trafficking. Join us on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Scott Community College Welcome Center, Student Life Center, Room 2300, located at 500 Belmont Road, Bettendorf, IA. Attendees are encouraged to park in Lot D on the main campus.
This important event is designed for adults and youth ages 16 and up (parental discretion advised) and aims to raise awareness about human trafficking, the fastest-growing crime here in Iowa and worldwide. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session following the screening.

The screening is sponsored by the American Association of University Women (AAUW) and the North Central Iowa Coalition Against Human Trafficking, highlighting a collaborative effort to combat this critical issue.
