The Clinton Community College (CCC) Cultural Committee, Clinton History Club, and Clinton MTA will host a bus tour highlighting the city’s history on Sept. 15, 2026.
 
Clinton is home to 16 properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places, along with parks, neighborhoods, homes, and other sites that reflect the community’s history.
 
The tour will take participants to several locations throughout Clinton, including two Thomas Dambo troll sites, Union Park, the Civil War section of Springdale Cemetery, a historic Danish neighborhood, Clinton and DeWitt parks, historic homes along Fifth Avenue, and the Walter Bork home.
 
The tour begins at CCC, 1000 Lincoln Blvd., Clinton. Bus boarding and check-in begin at 8:30 a.m. Buses will leave promptly at 9 a.m. and return to the campus at noon.
