Employee Development Funds
The development of Eastern Iowa Community Colleges' faculty and staff is important
                        to the teaching and learning mission of the college.  Two funds have been established
                        to support ongoing education and training for employees:  the Employee Educational
                        Advancement Fund and the Employee Professional Development Fund.
                     
                     Employee Educational Advancement Fund
This fund will support tuition and course fees for bachelor and graduate-level education
                        or non-degree certifications.  Distinguished Faculty should use their Distinguished
                        Faculty-allocated funds first before applying for this funding. Applications are reviewed
                        by the committee on the first Tuesday of every month.
                     
                     
                     
                     Employee Professional Development Fund
This fund will support registration and travel expenses to attend conferences, workshops
                        and webinars; to participate in short-term training; or to bring in external speakers
                        or trainers for a specific purpose. Costs covered by other internal or external funding
                        are not eligible for these funds. Distinguished Faculty should use their Distinguished
                        Faculty-allocated funds first before applying for this funding. Applications are reviewed
                        by the committee on the first Tuesday of every month.
