The new school year is just around the corner, and Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) is making final preparations for the start of Fall classes on August 22. EICC includes Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges where registration is well underway.

Students can register any time during normal business hours. To help students with busy weekday schedules, all three colleges have set a special Saturday registration session from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. on August 13.

The college’s main campuses are located at:

Students are encouraged to begin the registration process as soon as possible to provide them a better chance to not only get the classes they want, but to get them at the times they want them.

EICC’s college transfer program allows students to complete their first two years of a four-year degree close to home. The state universities and area private colleges work closely with EICC to ensure students completing their Associate in Arts degree here will be able to easily transfer their credits. In addition, joint admissions agreements with the state universities mean students are simultaneously admitted both here and the university to which they intend to transfer.

The college also offers more than 30 career technology programs designed to allow students to enter directly into the job market. The programs range from a semester in length to a full Associate in Applied Science Degree.

Financial aid is still available for the upcoming academic year and EICC’s tuition continues to be among the most competitive in the state.

For students who have trouble juggling work and family schedules with attending classes, the college offers an extensive online program, as well as our Degree Plan for Working Adults.
