Whether you can name your dream career or want to explore your options and find that perfect fit, you can. Join an EICC Career Academy while you're in high school. Many students earn a semester to a full year of college credit for free. You save money, get a head start on your education, and get to jump into your career sooner.

Most high schools cover all tuition costs for classes you complete before graduation.
Cuts your training time by up to half, which gets you in the job market quicker.
Earn a college certificate. It looks great on a resume.

Career Academy Programs

Advanced Agriculture Academy

Agriculture is more than crops and cows. If you're into business, technology, or problem-solving, this Academy is for you. Start your Agribusiness Management degree in high school.

Agriculture Academy

Interested in a career in agribusiness, farm management, conservation, or working with animals? Complete up to a year of college courses for a variety of EICC Ag degree programs.

Automotive Academy

Earn an Automotive Service Technician Certificate. After high school, you can take on an entry-level position in the industry or keep going and earn an EICC diploma or degree.

Business Academy

Earn up to 25 college credits – that's about a full year of courses – toward your degree in Business. Study accounting, economics, and more. After graduation, finish your two-year degree at EICC.

CNC Machine Operator Academy

Earn a CNC Machine Operator Certificate. It can lead to a paid apprenticeship and various manufacturing jobs. Or continue your education with EICC.

Construction Academy

Start building a career in construction. Get hands-on lab and classroom experience in basic architecture, construction, and engineering. Earn a Construction Technology Certificate and college credits.

Criminal Justice Academy

Explore the field and ID your perfect career while earning a Criminal Justice Certificate. Use your credits toward an EICC diploma or AAS degree. Wrap up your education in as little as 1.5 years.

Culinary Academy

Get a jump on your Culinary Arts education. Earn up to 14 credits. Study baking, safety and sanitation, food prep, and intern, too. Graduate and keep going to earn a EICC certificate, diploma, or degree.

Diesel Technology Academy

Earn your Heavy Duty Equipment Certificate before you graduate, for free! Join the EICC Diesel Technology Academy and get hands-on as you study. That certificate can land you an entry level position.

Digital Modeling Academy

Join the Digital Modeling Career Academy while you are still in high school. It’s free through EICC. And, the skills you learn are valued by manufacturers and can lead to an entry-level position.

EMT Academy

Build the skills and knowledge you need to your Iowa EMT Certification in high school. From there, start your career or continue your EICC education and become a paramedic.

Engineering Technology Academy

Start your Engineering Tech degree and build skills that are valued by businesses throughout our region. Graduate and enter the workforce or keep going to earn an EICC diploma or degree.

Game & Simulation Development Academy

Learn the fundamentals of game production, 3D modeling, animation, and programming. Graduate high school with a portfolio of college-level projects and a certificate.

Healthcare Academy

Build a strong healthcare foundation in courses like Medical Terminology, and Human Anatomy and Physiology. Prepare to enter a healthcare specialty involving patient care. You can even earn your CNA.

Horticulture Academy

Join the Horticulture Career Academy while you're still in high school. It’s free through EICC. The skills you learn are highly valued by landscape design companies, nurseries, and more.

HVAC Academy

Learn to repair, maintain, and install HVAC systems. Graduate high school, finish a short summer term, and earn your EICC Diploma. Our program is the only in Iowa to receive accreditation from HVAC Excellence.

Networking Academy

Earn a certificate or diploma in IT/Networking for Security. The college credits you earn count toward an EICC degree and prepare you for industry-recognized certifications such as CCENT, CompTIA’s A+, and more.

Programming Academy

Build fundamental skills in developing and maintaining computer programs and systems, and learn to write code. After high school, you can complete your certificate and continue your studies at EICC.

Small Business Management Academy

Earn a Small Business Management certificate and 18 college credits studying accounting, business law, small business management, and more. Continue with EICC after graduation.

Teacher Preparation Academy

Earn up to 22 credits taking courses that are essential to aspiring teachers, like Children's Literature, Developmental Psychology, and Intro. to Education. After graduation, finish up your associate's at EICC.
